Biography
FufuLène was not born an artist, but became one through a singular process. More than anything, she has been driven by questioning the world and its ills, and by finding the words to denounce and try to undo them, and first embarked on a career as a sociologist. But if investigating human experiences fascinates her, words at times frustrate her, as they don't communicate everything, nor to everyone.
Her quest to render her concerns visible in the same dazing, uncanny and cynic way they may be experienced, as weird, beautiful and critical testimonies, turned her into an artist. The Covid-19 pandemic, gave her a final push to dedicate herself full-time to her art, and to pass the point of no return.
